Good Barcelona tour

Did the Barcelona Tastes and Traditions Tour. Guide was good. Food was authentic. Walked a lot. Worth the price.

Great value in Rome

I was looking for a good deal on a food tour in Rome and saw the Rome Twilight Trastevere Food Tour. The price seemed fair, and I even found a small discount when I signed up for their newsletter, which was a nice bonus. The tour itself was well-organized, and we got to try a lot of different dishes. It felt like a solid amount of food for what I paid, and the guide shared some interesting history. Definitely felt like I got good value for my money and a genuine experience without breaking the bank.

Loved the Madrid tour!

I booked the Madrid Tapas and Wine Tour and it was absolutely fantastic! Our guide was so knowledgeable and took us to some incredible spots I would have never found on my own. The food was delicious, and the wine pairings were spot on. I learned so much about Spanish culture and cuisine. It was an unforgettable experience, and I'm already planning my next trip to try another one of their tours. I will definitely tell all my friends to check them out!

What's the cancellation policy like? Thinking of booking for London but my travel plans aren't 100% solid yet.

They have a pretty clear cancellation policy, I think it's usually free up to a certain number of days before. Check the fine print on the specific tour though, it can vary.

I had to cancel a Florence tour last minute and it was actually pretty smooth. I think I got most of my money back because it was still outside the 72-hour window or something like that. Just read their terms before you commit.

I'm looking at the Madrid Tapas tour, but my friend is vegetarian. Will she be able to actually eat stuff or will it be awkward?

A Anna Foster 1 month ago
They're usually pretty good about accommodating dietary needs. Just make sure to mention it when you book, there's usually a spot to add notes.

Yeah, they have vegetarian options for sure. I did the Seville one with a vegan friend and they made sure she had plenty to eat, they'll usually swap things out or have alternatives.

Planning a trip to Barcelona and saw they have a couple of tours there. How do they compare to like, Secret Food Tours or Airbnb Experiences? Never done one before.

N Noor Marsh 1 month ago
I've done Devour and Secret Food Tours in different cities. Devour feels a bit more curated and deep dives into the culture, Secret is good too but maybe a tiny bit more 'just food'. Airbnb can be hit or miss depending on the host.

Devour's guides are usually really knowledgeable, like proper experts. With Airbnb it's more of a local showing you around, which is cool but different vibe. I'd go Devour if you want more of a structured, historical food experience.

I have a promo code from a newsletter signup, but where do I even put it when I'm checking out? I don't see a box.

I Ivy 2 months ago
It usually pops up at the very last step of checkout, just before you confirm payment. Keep an eye out for a 'promo code' or 'discount code' box.

Yeah, don't worry, it's there. It's not usually on the first page of the cart, you have to go almost all the way through to the payment screen and then you'll see a little box for it.

Is Devour Tours legit? Like, are these actual good tours or just another tourist trap kinda thing?

O Omar 1 month ago
Totally legit. I've done a few in Spain and they're really well run, guides know their stuff.

I was wondering the same thing before my Paris trip. But it's not a trap at all, they really focus on local spots and history. Much better than some other random ones I've tried.
